Steel Cathedral for a Million People, 1926

William Norman Guthrie was a “radical” rector who ran controversial events in his church, such as Egyptian Sun God Dances. Frank Lloyd Wright worked with Guthrie to propose this enormous, unbuilt cathedral for New York City.
